Charlotte, N.C. (September 18, 2020) – FINS of AAA has opened its second Wilmington location, making the car wash its ninth in total. The newest Fins Car Wash is located at 3430 S. College Road, Wilmington NC 28412.
“We’re excited to be expanding in the lively community of Wilmington,” said Greg Ries, Vice President of Fins Car Wash. “We’ll continue to provide the same level of cleanliness and excellent service our customers are accustomed to at our other locations.”
Fins Car Wash is an automatic car wash focused on providing fast and remarkable washes. It differs from other car washes because of its state-of-the-art, low-stress loading system that eases and enhances motorists’ car wash experience. FINS utilizes environmentally safe soaps and a water-recycling system that saves 80% of the water we use, about 130 gallons less than what you would use in your driveway. It is also equipped with spot-free rinse and heated blowers, which have been proven to be the most effective method of drying vehicles.
FINS is open to AAA members and nonmembers alike – though AAA members receive discounts on the monthly memberships and other perks.
Additionally, FINS has always prided itself on providing a clean environment for our customers. In light of COVID-19, however, we are taking additional steps to help ensure the safety of our valued customers and team members. All operating FINS locations are open with a modified experience to keep our members safe. FINS is currently available in Greenville, SC; Charleston, SC; Summerville, SC; Greensboro, NC and Wilmington, NC.
- To limit interaction with associates, pay stations will be unmanned
- Restrooms and office will be inaccessible to the public
- All customer facing surfaces, including pay stations, vacuums, mat machines, doors, bathrooms and trash cans will be sanitized regularly.
- The purchase of Gift Cards is temporarily suspended to reduce direct person-to person contact.
