Harris Poll EquiTrend?study names AAA Insurance highestamong competitors in familiarity, quality and purchase consideration
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (MAY 26, 2016)AAA Insurance has earned “Brand of the Year” status for its auto insurance offerings, according to the 2016 Harris Poll EquiTrend?study. AAA also ranked second highest in Home Insurance and third in Life Insurance.

Measuring brands’ health over time, the EquiTrend Brand Equity Index is comprised of three factors — Familiarity, Quality and Purchase Consideration — that result in a brand equity rating for each brand. Brands ranking highest in equity receive the Harris Poll EquiTrend?”Brand of the Year” award for their respective categories. This year, more than 97,000 U.S. consumers assessed more than 3,800 brands across nearly 500 categories.
Harris previously recognized AAA as 2014 Property & Casualty Insurance Brand of the Year and 2012 Insurance Brand of the Year, ahead of other major insurers including State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, and Progressive. In 2014, a group of AAA clubs and CSAA Insurance Group collaborated to purchase promotional rights, and materials were made available to all AAA clubs.
