It's Easy to Get Started

You’ve booked your Walt Disney World vacation package with AAA! Our world-class travel team wants to share our extensive Disney knowledge to help your trip go perfectly. First, we’d like to introduce you to MyMagic+, a collection of vacation planning tools to help customize your Disney experience in advance to make your vacation even better.

MyMagic+ Includes:

• Build your itinerary, download it to the mobile app, share it with your family and use it in real-time on your vacation.
• MagicBands - your colorful, customizable wristband for each traveler!
• FastPass+
• Reserve access to attractions, fireworks shows, parades and more!​​

Step 1: Register

Go to StartYourDisneyExperience.com and register with your email address. On this website, you will be able to customize your MagicBands, plan your daily itinerary, get advance FastPass+, make dining reservations and more. To ensure you make the most of your vacation, AAA recommends starting this process as soon as you book and deposit your vacation with your AAA travel agent. Have your Resort Confirmation number ready for the next step.​​​​​

Step 2: Link Your Reservation

Linking your reservation allows your MagicBands and FastPass+ to be uniquely associated with you. You will verify the names of your traveling companions during this step.​​​​

Step 3: Customize Your MagicBands

Next, MagicBands can be customized for each traveler with their names inscribed and their favorite color selected. Simply click “Personalize MagicBands” to start. Make sure you customize your MagicBands as soon as possible. Customization is only allowed up to 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you miss that deadline, no pro​blem – you can pick up your standard-issue MagicBand at your hotel’s registration area.​​​​​

Step 4: Select Your FastPass+ Experiences

Step 5: Make Your Dining Reservations

Now that you know which theme parks you’ll visit on which days, you can plan those special restaurant experiences. Click on “Make Dining Reservations” where you’ll find nearly 100 restaurants that accept advance reservations. Most popular restaurants book well in advance. You can make reservations 180 days prior to the first day of your arrival, so keep that in mind when planning. If you can’t get advance reservations at a favorite choice, check in at the restaurant the same day to find out about last minute availability.​​​​​

Step 6: Download the App

With the My Disney Experience mobile app, your entire itinerary that you just set up can be downloaded and accessible on your mobile phone when you arrive at Walt Disney World. You can change FastPass+ reservations on the fly, check real-time attraction wait times, make dining reservations, and much more. Also, don’t forget to download the Touringplans app, Lines. It comes with your complimentary subscription. You’ll see wait times for attractions in all the parks, show times, character greeting times, FastPass+ availability and more!​​​​
