Disney resorts are grouped into four categories, each with its own price range. Resorts
from each category are found throughout Walt Disney World; some are closer to specific parks than others. When deciding where to stay, we encourage you to consider these factors along with other elements like amenities, theme and more.
Our Recommended Resort:
Art of Animation– *The best theming of Disney’s Value Resorts, nicer pools, a better food court, and the availability of family suites make this the best choice among
Our Recommended Resort:
Port Orleans French Quarter– *French Quarter is smaller and more intimate than the other Disney Moderate Resorts. It shares the amenities with its sister resort, Riverside, so a pleasant walk brings you to a table service restaurant, Boatwrights Dining Hall, and more pool options.
Our Recommended Resort:
The Polynesian Village Resort– *One of Walt Disney World’s original resorts, the Polynesian has some of the largest rooms on property, a multitude of recreation options, and is extremely well-located. Take a monorail or boat ride to the Magic Kingdom and get to Epcot via the monorail. The white sand beaches on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon make a great viewing spot for the Magic Kingdom fireworks or the Electrical Water Pageant.
Our Recommended Resort:
Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary– *Offering studios, one, two and three-bedroom units, Bay Lake Tower is attached and shares amenities with Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Location is the key here. You can catch the monorail in the atrium of the Contemporary and a short, 10-minute walk takes you to the Magic Kingdom.
